My prayers this morning are for the children, parents, teachers, and staff of Whatcom Middle School.
I am thankful for the safety of the firefighters. Other issues facing our district now seem much less important.
Please call and write your friends at Whatcom. Let them know you are with them. Now is the time for our community to come together to support the District staff and the Whatcom Middle School community as they take the next steps on this unexpected journey.
